About the Role
The Travel Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end travel arrangements, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring smooth execution of all travel-related operations. The role requires strong communication, customer service orientation, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple travel requests efficiently.
Key Responsibilities1. Travel Planning & Coordination
- Plan, coordinate, and book domestic and international travel for clients/employees.
- Prepare customized itineraries based on client requirements.
- Arrange flights, hotels, transportation, visas, insurance, and other travel services.
- Identify cost-effective travel options while ensuring quality and comfort.
2. Client Handling & Communication
- Understand travel needs and preferences of clients or employees.
- Provide timely updates, confirmations, and travel documents.
- Respond to queries related to booking, rescheduling, cancellations, etc.
3. Vendor Management
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, travel agents, tour operators, and transport vendors.
- Negotiate rates and ensure best deals for bookings.
- Maintain strong relationships with service providers.
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare invoices, travel vouchers, travel checklists, and relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company travel policies.
- Assist in visa processing and gather necessary documents.
5. Operations & Issue Resolution
- Monitor ongoing travel schedules and proactively resolve issues such as delays, cancellations, etc.
- Provide real-time support to travelers.
- Handle escalations and ensure smooth travel experience.
6. Reporting & Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, expenses, and travel logs.
- Generate travel-related reports for management.
- Track and analyze travel costs for optimization.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of domestic & international travel processes.
- Hands-on experience with travel booking tools/portals (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, online booking engines).
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of visa documentation and travel guidelines.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (Hospitality, Travel & Tourism preferred).
- 1–5 years of experience as a Travel Executive / Travel Consultant / Travel Coordinator.
- Experience in corporate travel management is an added advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
