American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for an outpatient urgent care position at a Level I trauma, Magnet-designated acute care hospital, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and an active ARRT(R) certification.

Outpatient urgent care setting within a Level I trauma center and Magnet-designated acute care hospital with 562 staffed beds

Charting performed in Cerner

Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts (8:30 AM–5:00 PM) with one 8-hour shift per pay period

On-call required as needed

Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital is required of all travelers

Minimum of 1 year of X-Ray experience required

Active ARRT(R) and BLS certification required; AHA and Red Cross BLS accepted (RQI AHA cards not accepted)

Active IL state license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable

SSN and DOB required for consideration

2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required

Any current or recent permanent or PRN employee of the hospital system must have been away for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler

Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

RTO of 5 days or fewer is generally accommodated; requests exceeding 5 days require facility approval

All scheduling and time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
