Travel Respiratory Therapist Registered Respiratory Therapist Job
Registered Respiratory Therapist – Travel assignment in Viroqua, WI. Start 05/18/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range of $1,733 to $1,860 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 3x12-hour nights (7p–7a) with every other weekend and holiday rotation in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care in a hospital setting, including assessment, therapy initiation, and monitoring of patient progress; develop and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapies, operate equipment (ventilators, oxygen delivery, humidification), and evaluate patient response.
- Perform phlebotomy and IV starts/removals as necessary and document procedures accurately.
- Educate patients and families on treatments, equipment use, and safety, including instruction on therapy administration and device management.
- Deliver NICU-level respiratory support as part of the neonatal care team; monitor NICU patients and coordinate care with the medical staff.
Requirements
- NICU experience required
- Ability to work 7p–7a with every other weekend and holiday rotation
- Proficient in phlebotomy and IV starts/removals
- Comfortable delivering respiratory care across general and neonatal patient populations in a hospital setting
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
