Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 5+ years of experience for a 13-week adult respiratory therapy position covering general floor and ICU settings on a variable 12-hour shift schedule.

Details

• Work setting includes general floor and ICU units, primarily adult patient population
• Performs a broad range of respiratory procedures including aerosol therapy, BiPAP, ABG, ventilator management, HFNC, CPT, COPD education, respiratory assessment, airway management, and nitric oxide therapy
• Equipment used includes Servo I, S, and U ventilators, V60, HT-70, ResMed, Optiflow, Volara, and Therapy Vest
• 4 or more RTs are scheduled per shift
• Variable 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• No holiday or on-call requirements

Requirements

• RRT credential required (CRT candidates considered only with 10+ years of experience)
• Minimum 5 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)
• Active Virginia (VA) state license required — license required if applicable

Additional Information

• Steel grey scrubs required
• Candidates will complete a written interview questionnaire as part of the review process; qualified candidates may advance to a manager interview
