Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a day shift travel assignment at an acute care facility in Louisiana.

Details

• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:00–18:30)
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• NICU experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RRT or CRT credential required
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Active Louisiana state RT license required if applicable
• Required certifications: BLS, CRT, RRT
• NRP required (travelers may begin with NRP pending)
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, PALS
• Epic EMR experience required
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
• Former permanent employees of any facility within this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
• Blue scrubs are required
