American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a night shift position at a major health system facility in Akron, OH.

Position is based in the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit of a large health system facility in Akron, OH
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30

Weekend availability required as needed

Floating to other system facilities may be required as needed
-
12-week contract

CRT or RRT credential accepted
-
Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT required

Active NBRC certification and BLS required

Active Ohio RT license required; license required if applicable

All work history, including any prior history with this health system, must be fully disclosed

Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the specialty are required for consideration; references must be from assignments worked within the past 12 months and co-worker references will not be accepted

Copies of a driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration

Negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start date; facility is nicotine-free with no exceptions

BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing

All RTO and scheduling requests must be communicated at the time of submission

First-time travelers will be considered for this position

Local candidates are accepted

Permanent and per diem candidates who have previously worked at a Cleveland Clinic facility cannot return until at least 1 year after their previous end date

Candidates may extend with the client for up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before working another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location

Pre-start and annual compliance modules are required; these vary by specialty and are completed prior to the start of the assignment
