American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active MA license, 2+ years of ED experience, and Epic proficiency on a 13-week night shift contract.

Emergency Department setting in a hospital environment

12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Every other weekend required
-
Floating to a sister facility (Addison Gilbert Hospital) required as needed

Epic EMR experience required

Must be able to independently read cardiac monitor strips — no monitor techs on unit

Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required

Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Ability to independently interpret cardiac rhythm strips required

COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions accepted)
-
Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions accepted)

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position

Anyone who has worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility (travel, per diem, or permanent) within the last 6 months is not eligible

Orientation is held on a biweekly schedule

A pass/fail competency test will be administered on day one of orientation with only one attempt allowed
-
Relias testing is required during onboarding as preparation for the onsite test — candidates have 2 attempts to pass; failure to pass both attempts may result in contract cancellation
