American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department night shift position in Fort Smith, AR, requiring 2+ years of ED experience and an active AR or compact RN license.

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12)

No float, call, or weekend requirements

EMR: Epic

Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate

Active AR RN license or compact RN license required
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, CPEN

Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required

At least 1 year of recent experience in the ED specialty required

Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)

No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning and evaluation, patient and family education, pain assessment and management, and participation in quality improvement and patient safety programs

Black scrubs required

Flu vaccination required; exemptions must be client-approved

Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documented renewal is already scheduled

Up to 5 days of RTO is allowed but must be made up during the assignment

Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this facility; after that, a minimum 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
