American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Dept RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract in Moberly, MO, requiring active MO or compact RN licensure and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

Work in the Emergency Services department of an acute care hospital setting
-
12-bed emergency department with a patient ratio of 1:4–6
-
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, varied days
-
13-week contract duration

EMR: EDIS/Medhost

No on-call responsibilities
-
No floating required
-
Active MO RN license or valid compact RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required

Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP — none may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

Valid US driver's license required for consideration

US Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
-
No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Deliver emergency nursing care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies

Demonstrate critical thinking and clinical judgment in the anticipation and planning for safe patient care in the ED

Delegate and supervise patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
-
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
-
Any solid scrub color is acceptable

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered

Blocked scheduling may be requested
