Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in Orange, CA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and the ability to circulate.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a 426-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Weekends may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs
• Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
• L&D/OR scrubs are provided; RNs on other units wear navy blue
• Free parking available on-site
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; pending licensure is not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Must be able to circulate in the OR
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
• Experience in a large hospital setting highly preferred
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Travel pairs will not be accepted
• All RTO must be declared at time of submission; requests made post-offer are subject to denial
• Scheduling requests related to outside employment will not be accommodated
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be eligible at a local rate
