American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital nursing administration role requiring active MA licensure, telemetry proficiency, and the ability to rotate across day, evening, and night shifts including every other weekend.

Hospital-based Nursing Administration Supervisor unit

Rotating shift schedule covering days, evenings, and nights

Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
-
36 hours per week
-
Oversees all patient care areas across the facility during off-shift hours
-
High-acuity patient population with emphasis on Med/Surg Telemetry cases
-
Must be able to read telemetry strips and perform and titrate cardiac drips
-
EMR: Epic (charting experience required)
-
Active Massachusetts RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
-
BSN (Bachelor of Degree in Nursing) required
-
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required — AHA only; Red Cross and other providers are not accepted for this facility

Minimum 3 years of advanced Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required

Critical care nursing experience preferred

Proficiency in reading telemetry strips and performing and titrating cardiac drips required

Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required

2 professional references required for consideration

Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Provides administrative, operational, and clinical oversight for all services across the facility on off-shifts, weekends, and holidays

Serves as the clinical resource and patient care representative, collaborating with medical staff, ancillary support, and clinical services

Conducts rounds of all patient care areas with emphasis on high-acuity patients and accurate reporting
-
Responsible for notifying the Administrator-On-Call of serious incidents, issues, and internal or external disasters
-
Listens to and documents patient and family concerns or complaints, and investigates as required
-
Coordinates with support services, emergency, admitting, and clinical teams to address clinical and environmental needs during off-shifts

Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
