Job Overview
Greentopps Landscaping & Tree Services is seeking a reliable and experienced crew supervisor to manage daily tree operations from the ground. This is NOT a climbing position. The primary responsibility is to lead the crew, communicate with customers and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordnance with the work orders.
Duties
- Manage and direct tree crew on job sites
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers
- Lead a crew of skilled workers, providing clear instructions and support to ensure safety and productivity
- Maintain crew productivity and job flow throughout the day
- Pre and post worksite inspections
- Plan project workflows, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress to meet deadlines
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on job status
- Maintain equipment, tools, and supplies needed for tree care operations
- Coordinate equipment including bucket trucks, grapple trucks, stump grinders, mini skid steers, and chippers
- Assist in planning and overseeing crane assisted removals
- Problem solve onsite and make decisions independently
- Must be able to work until the job is completed
Qualifications
- Experience leading crews in tree service
- Strong background in landscaping, tree care, arboriculture and horticulture environments
- Knowledge of tree care techniques including pruning, cabling, bracing, and removal procedures
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
- ISA Certified Arborist is a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
