Job Title: Tree Sales & Removal Specialist (Sales + Crew Management)
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Tree Sales & Removal Specialist to generate new business, assess tree removal needs, and manage projects from estimate through completion. This role combines sales, field evaluation, and crew leadership, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and local outreach
- Meet with residential and commercial clients to assess tree removal needs
- Prepare and present estimates for tree cutting, trimming, and removal services
- Close sales and maintain strong client relationships
Site Evaluation & Estimating
- Inspect properties to evaluate tree condition, risk, and accessibility
- Identify hazards (power lines, structures, terrain, etc.)
- Accurately define scope of work and pricing
- Coordinate scheduling with operations and clients
Crew Management & Project Oversight
- Manage and oversee tree removal crews on job sites
- Assign daily tasks and ensure crews understand job scope and safety expectations
- Monitor productivity, quality, and job timelines
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Coordinate equipment, materials, and logistics for each job
- Troubleshoot issues in the field and make real-time decisions
- Train and mentor crew members as needed
Project Coordination & Customer Experience
- Serve as the main point of contact from estimate through job completion
- Ensure clear communication between client and crew
- Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure customer satisfaction
- Handle change orders, concerns, or adjustments professionally
- Follow up for reviews, referrals, and repeat business
Qualifications
- Experience in tree services, landscaping, construction, or outdoor operations
- Proven sales ability and customer-facing experience
- Leadership or crew management experience preferred
- Ability to assess job sites and manage multiple projects
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
