Truck Driver [C+E category] (Zagre, Croatia)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive trucks safely on highways, city streets, and industrial sites
• Load, secure, and unload cargo according to company and safety procedures
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips, checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and paperwork
• Plan routes to optimize fuel efficiency and meet delivery schedules
• Communicate with dispatchers, clients, and site managers regarding deliveries and issues
• Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report major mechanical issues

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the truck type
• Proven experience in driving trucks or heavy vehicles
• Knowledge of road safety and cargo handling procedures
• Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspection and minor maintenance
• Reliability, punctuality, and strong time-management skills
• Good physical condition for long hours of driving and cargo handling

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with specific types of trucks (e.g., flatbed, tanker, refrigerated, dump truck, mixer truck)
• Knowledge of regional routes, road conditions, and delivery regulations

Work Environment:

• On-road driving, loading/unloading sites, warehouses, or construction locations
• May involve long hours, night driving, or variable weather conditions
