Cooke Trucking Company is a family owned business seeking to add a Truck Driver Recruiter to our team. In this role, you will drive the recruitment process for Class A CDL drivers. Your experience in trucking recruiting, communication and relationship management will help us continue to build a strong, reliable fleet that supports our goals. Responsibilities

• Build relationships with truck driving schools and community colleges throughout NC and Southwest VA.
• Lead to hire recruiting for Class A CDL truck drivers which includes utilizing a variety of resources, interviewing and retention practices.
• Practice effective recruitment using social media, job boards, applicant tracking systems, and other recruiting venues to bring in qualified candidates.
• Conduct outreach through cold calling, research and transportation networking.
• Manage recruitment campaigns by utilizing a variety of trucking networks, schools and job placement organizations.
• Track recruitment progress and retention of driver population to change and adapt process to grow driver workforce.

Experience

• Experience in transportation or logistics industry; recruiting is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage candidates from all walks of life.
• Exhibit ability in driver talent management, candidate sourcing, and external recruiting in multiple pipelines.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems such as Tenstreet.
• Managing high-volume recruitment projects with a focus on over the road, team driving.
• Knowledge of HR and FMCSA regulations in regard to qualification of CDL A Drivers.
• Experience in use, management and lead generation within social media and employer branding is a plus.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
