Typist – Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Type, format, and proofread corporate letters, reports, presentations, and other business documents.
  • Ensure all documents meet company standards for professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in corporate systems and databases.
  • Handle sensitive business information with discretion.
  • Draft and prepare internal and external corporate correspondence.
  • Support administrative teams with filing, scanning, and document control.
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure timely completion of documentation.
  • Use office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to prepare professional materials.

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Typist / Document Controller / Admin Assistant in a corporate environment.
  • High typing speed with excellent accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate document formatting and business communication standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent command of English (verbal and written).
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
