UAE National Adminstrative - Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented UAE National to join a client of ours which is a European Construction Company as an Administrative Electrical Engineer. This unique role combines technical electrical engineering expertise with essential administrative support functions, ensuring the smooth operation of our engineering department. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual capable of managing diverse tasks, from assisting with technical documentation and project coordination to providing comprehensive administrative support. This position offers a valuable opportunity to grow within a dynamic environment, contributing to both technical and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the electrical engineering department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and organization of electrical project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and technical submittals.
  • Maintain and update project files, databases, and record-keeping systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information.
  • Support the team in basic electrical design tasks, calculations, and analysis under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Prepare and format various reports, presentations, and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate project progress and information exchange.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and equipment maintenance requests for the department.
  • Assist in tracking project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, providing regular updates to the team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and relevant UAE standards in all administrative and technical tasks.
  • Facilitate communication channels within the department and with other business units.
  • Participate in site visits or inspections as required, providing administrative and technical assistance.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and physical mail.
