USER EXPERIENCE ARCHITECTURE

Are you a design strategist who transforms complex business and compliance requirements into seamless, human‑centred journeys? Do you thrive on mixed‑method research, information architecture and design‑system stewardship—and enjoy mentoring researchers while collaborating hand‑in‑hand with UI / UX, engineering and product teams? We are looking for a UI/UX Architect to own the experience vision for every module of Compliance Nexus, our AI‑enabled data‑protection and governance suite.

You will partner closely with, front‑end developers, back‑end engineers and DevOps specialists in cross‑functional pods, ensuring that each micro‑app feels coherent, accessible and delightful—even to risk analysts and regulatory auditors.

BACKGROUND

At Allendevaux & Company, we are building customer‑focused teams that combine deep expertise in global regulations, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence with a forward‑thinking engineering culture. Our mission is to simplify how enterprises achieve compliance and operational excellence by automating the heavy lifting through usable, trustworthy software.

As part of this effort, we are assembling a team of creative, supportive and highly skilled professionals. You will join a culture that values collaboration, innovation and craftsmanship—and you will directly influence how our platform evolves, setting the standard for modern, AI‑enabled governance experiences.

Must have a laptop that supports design and Microsoft Teams meetings. Company will provide the software.

EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate has a proven record of designing enterprise SaaS or platform products, leading user‑centred research programmes, and governing a design system that bridges multiple modules. You should be comfortable running qualitative and quantitative studies, mapping complex information architectures, creating low‑ to mid‑fidelity prototypes in Figma, and partnering with engineering to translate insights into production.

Experience working in agile environments, collaborating in Git‑based workflows, and aligning UI/UX strategy with regulatory or security‑driven product constraints (ISO 27001, WCAG 2.2, etc.) is highly desirable.

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND SKILLS

  • Excellent communicator in both written and spoken English, able to translate research insights for executives and engineers alike.
  • Analytical and methodical, grounding design decisions in data and usability evidence.
  • Systems thinker with a knack for harmonising multiple modules under a coherent IA.
  • Adaptable, self‑motivated and committed to continual learning and improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading discovery workshops, persona development, journey mapping and task‑flow definition for each module.
  • Governing the platform‑wide information architecture, taxonomy and search patterns.
  • Establishing and evolving a design system with the UI / UX Designer to ensure visual and interaction consistency.
  • Managing UX researchers: setting research standards, reviewing study plans and curating an insight repository.
  • Collaborating with product owners and engineers to validate feasibility before design freeze.
  • Championing accessibility, localisation and evidence‑based iteration across sprints.
  • Instrumenting behavioural metrics and driving post‑launch usability improvements.
  • Documenting design decisions, methodologies and guidelines for future scalability.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human‑Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design or related field.
  • 3+ years of UI/UX experience.
  • Demonstrated mastery of user‑centred design, mixed‑method research and IA for multi‑module products.
  • Hands‑on expertise with Figma (components, variables, auto‑layout) and collaborative tools such as FigJam or Miro.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing enterprise‑grade UX work and measurable impact.
  • Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.2‑AA) and localisation best practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in cybersecurity, privacy or regulated‑industry SaaS.
  • Exposure to design tokens, Storybook workflows and React/TypeScript collaboration.
  • Certification such as NN/g UX Master or comparable.
  • Working knowledge of analytics platforms (Amplitude, GA4) for data‑driven iteration.
