The Uniform Valet is responsible for the efficient handling, distribution, and maintenance of all hotel staff uniforms. This role ensures that employees receive clean, well-maintained uniforms on time, while maintaining accurate records and supporting the smooth operation of the uniform department.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Receive, organize, and issue uniforms to hotel staff according to schedules and department needs.
  • Collect, inspect, and return laundered uniforms in good condition.
  • Maintain proper inventory and storage of all uniforms and related supplies.
  • Ensure cleanliness, neatness, and proper labeling of uniforms.
  • Record transactions and maintain accurate logs of uniform issuance and returns.
  • Assist staff with uniform-related queries and replacements.
  • Follow hotel hygiene, safety, and operational procedures at all times.

Experience

  • 1–2 years’ experience in uniform or linen handling, preferably in a hotel, resort, or hospital environment.
  • Familiarity with laundry operations and uniform care.

Skills & Competencies

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage inventory and maintain accurate records.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of fabric care and laundry handling.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team and follow instructions.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and professional appearance.
