Unit Program Communicator 2

The Department of Biomedical Data Science (DBDS) is a growing academic research community, comprised of faculty, students, and staff, whose mission is to advance precision health and medicine by leveraging large, complex, multi-scale real-world data through the development and implementation of novel analytical tools and methods.

Reporting to the Director of Finance & Administration, we are seeking a Unit Program Communicator to be a key player and primary partner to department leadership tasked with facilitating department growth and communications through the strategic development and execution of all pertinent internal and external programs and forums. Duties include management of the department website, weekly digest (forum to consolidate most dept communications and provide updates on relevant internal and external events, activities, announcements, etc.), social media, marketing materials (including original content development from faculty teaching, education, and research), newsletters, etc. This position will also play a key role in building our brand as we seek to better position the department within Stanford and the external community. This position may supervise the work of administrative support personnel.

The expected pay range for this position is $90,174 to $109,773 per annum.
