Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Floater to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and the ability to provide support across various classrooms. This role involves engaging with children, assisting teachers, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all students. The Preschool Floater will play a vital role in enhancing the educational experience of young learners.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in daily classroom activities and lesson implementation.
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and educational activities.
• Support individualized learning by providing tutoring in areas such as math and literacy education.
• Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative atmosphere.
• Adapt to different classroom settings and age groups as needed throughout the day.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of classrooms and play areas.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education.

Requirements

• EEC Teacher Certified
• Experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.
• Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom dynamics.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while being adaptable to changing needs.
• A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,145.80 - $54,369.14 per year
