Who we are:
Big-Dill Hospitality is a family-owned restaurant group that owns and operates Muchacho Tex-Mex, Whistle Britches, Even Coast, Casa Brasa, Kamila, and coming soon Maroma and TiO. Helmed by Chef Omar Flores, a two-time James Beard Semi-Finalist, Best Chef SW and Dallas Rising Star Chef, this is Chef Flores’ newest passion project several years in the making.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking Servers with a passion for hospitality, a talent for creating memorable guest experiences, and the ability to deliver exceptional service at our upcoming new concept, Maroma. This role is ideal for a service professional who thrives in a fast-paced, chef-driven environment and is eager to contribute to the dining experience of a brand-new upscale Mexican Coastal concept.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and elegant service to guests
  • Guide guests through the menu, including wine pairings and chef specialties
  • Anticipate and respond to guest needs promptly and professionally
  • Maintain a clean and organized section with attention to presentation
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service
  • Follow proper steps of service and adhere to company standards
  • Handle payments and process checks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Uphold Even Coast's commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in upscale dining service
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktail offerings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Poise and professionalism under pressure
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • TABC and Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work in a standing position for 8-10 hours per day
  • Ability to lift 60lbs (50lbs overhead)
  • Stand for a long period of time.
  • Be able to kneel, crouch, stoop, twist, reach, push, pull and grasp throughout the day.
  • Hearing and speech to communicate in person or over telephone.
