Job Summary

UTF Labs is seeking a proactive and results-driven Upwork Bidder / Business Development Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying relevant projects on Upwork, submitting effective proposals, communicating with international clients, and securing projects related to IoT solutions, embedded systems, hardware-software integration, and custom technology development.

The candidate should possess strong communication skills, a good understanding of the freelancing marketplace, and the ability to convert leads into successful projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze relevant job postings on Upwork related to IoT, embedded systems, software development, and technology solutions.
  • Prepare and submit customized, high-quality proposals to potential clients.
  • Communicate with international clients to understand their technical and business requirements.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to clarify project scope and feasibility.
  • Negotiate project terms, budgets, and timelines with clients.
  • Maintain a pipeline of potential projects and ensure timely follow-ups with prospects.
  • Track proposal performance and improve bidding strategies to increase success rate.
  • Maintain professional client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Achieve monthly project acquisition and revenue targets.
  • Maintain records of bids, leads, and conversions for reporting purposes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years experience in Upwork bidding or freelancing platform business development.
  • Strong understanding of Upwork platform, bidding strategies, and proposal writing.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of IoT technologies, embedded systems, hardware integration, and software development is preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple proposals and client communications simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation and client management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with international clients (US, UK, Europe, Middle East).
  • Knowledge of freelancing platforms like Fiverr, Freelancer, Guru, or Bark will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and project tracking systems.

Performance Metrics

  • Number of quality proposals submitted.
  • Projects won / conversion rate.
  • Revenue generated from Upwork projects.
  • Client satisfaction and long-term client relationships.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
