Job Title: Upwork Bidder / Business Development Executive

Shift Timing: Night Shift (9:00pm to 6am)
Job Overview:
Nexion Corp is looking for a proactive and results-driven Upwork Bidder who can generate business through freelancing platforms, primarily Upwork. The candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients, building strong relationships, and contributing to the company’s revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and other platforms
Write tailored, high-converting proposals based on client requirements
Communicate with clients professionally via chat, calls, and meetings
Understand project scope and coordinate with internal teams (Sales/Operations)
Negotiate pricing, timelines, and project deliverables
Maintain a consistent pipeline of leads and opportunities
Follow up with prospects to close deals and ensure long-term collaboration
Maintain records of proposals, client communication, and conversions
Requirements:
6 months to 2 years of experience as an Upwork Bidder or in a similar role
Excellent English communication (written & verbal)
Strong proposal writing and client-handling skills
Good understanding of IT services (Web Development, SEO, Social Media, etc.)
Ability to work under targets and deadlines
Basic knowledge of freelancing platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer)
Preferred Skills:
Experience in international client dealing
Knowledge of CRM tools and lead tracking
Sales and negotiation skills
Ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously
KPIs (Performance Metrics):
Daily proposals sent (quality + quantity)
Client response rate
Conversion ratio (projects closed)
Monthly revenue generated
Client retention and repeat business
