Urdu Teacher - Middle Section

Job Summary

The Urdu Teacher (Middle Section) is responsible for delivering effective instruction in Urdu language and literature to students. The role focuses on developing students’ reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension skills while encouraging appreciation for Urdu literature and culture. The teacher is expected to create an engaging learning environment, monitor student progress, and contribute to the overall academic development of students in accordance with the school’s curriculum and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver structured Urdu lessons for middle section students.
  • Teach Urdu language skills including reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.
  • Introduce students to appropriate Urdu literature, poetry, and prose as per the curriculum.
  • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments aligned with academic objectives.
  • Evaluate students’ performance through classwork, tests, quizzes, and examinations.
  • Maintain an organized, disciplined, and positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Identify students’ academic needs and provide guidance and support to improve their performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and academic progress.
  • Communicate students’ progress and any concerns with parents when required.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and academic planning activities.
  • Contribute to school events, language activities, and other co-curricular programs.
  • Ensure timely completion of the prescribed syllabus and effective exam preparation.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urdu, Education, or a related field from a recognized institution. B.Ed. or M.Ed. will be preferred. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience at the middle school level is preferred. The candidate should possess a strong command of the Urdu language, grammar, and literature along with effective classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
