Please open a Sr. HR Business Partner role for US to work 8 AM to 5 PM EST in Bangalore office. This resource may travel 3 days to Mysore and work from there every month.

HR Business Partner – Offshore (India-Based, U.S. Timings)

Location: Bengaluru
Work Hours: U.S. Eastern or Pacific Time Zone
Experience: 10+ years in HR, with 5+ years in U.S.-based HR operations
Preferred: Candidates who have worked in the U.S. and relocated to India

Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and empathetic HR Business Partner to support our U.S. operations from India. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional who understands the nuances of U.S. employment practices and can seamlessly operate across time zones and cultures. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, ensuring smooth execution of HR programs, compliance, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Communication & Engagement
  • Facilitate empathetic, clear, and timely communication across teams
  • Support performance conversations, feedback loops, and employee relations
  • HR Operations & Support
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle events for U.S. hires
  • Administer U.S. benefits programs (healthcare, 401(k), leave policies)
  • Coordinate immigration documentation and compliance (H-1B, OPT, etc.)
  • Oversee contract administration and HR documentation workflows
  • Compliance & Policy Execution
  • Ensure adherence to U.S. labor laws, EEOC, I-9, and other regulatory frameworks
  • Support audits, reporting, and documentation for HR compliance
  • Strategic HR Partnership
  • Collaborate with U.S. leadership on workforce planning and talent strategy
  • Provide insights on employee trends, engagement, and retention
  • Support DEI initiatives and cultural integration across geographies

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with minimum 5 years in U.S. HR operations
  • Strong understanding of U.S. employment law, benefits, and HR systems
  • Experience with immigration processes, onboarding, and contract management
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and empathetic tone
  • Ability to work independently and manage cross-border HR operations
  • Preferred: Candidates who have lived and worked in the U.S. and are now based in India

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
