To design processes in accordance with Ford systems and to commission smart and highly automated process equipment and facilities.

What Awaits You in This Role?

• Responsible feasibility studies for 1T Body manufacturing processes for new Ford Transit Custom programs and partner vehicles.
• Leading project manufacturing steps according to GPDS project milestones and LQOS standarts
• Ensuring the production of body of new models in manufacturing lines, following defined processes and quality metrics.
• Conducting DPA5 studies during product development for body processes and perform feasibility analyses for design changes, considering Ford production standards, tooling constraints, and quality metrics. Provide actionable feedback to the facility team to support tooling and equipment design.
• Participating AIM, Concern, and Whiteboard processes on behalf of the manufacturing body team as per GPDS milestone and creating solutions & action plan to resolve related issues of manufacturing to provide Launch quality standarts
• Develop project investment budgets and labor requirement forecasts; prepare and present this information to management.
• Defining process flows for workstations, preparing/revising operation sheets, and ensuring the creation of control plans ; publish and maintain these documentations and global GSPAS system
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse and resolve problems during launch phases.
• Conducting PFMEA studies for new manufacturing processes.

What Are We Looking For in This Position?

• Graduating from Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Materials Engineering or related departments of universities
• Preferably have knowledge&experience of body manufacruging processes in production/project areas in the automotive industry
• Basic knowledge about automotive production processes and welding methods in body production
• Familiarity with Launch Processes (PFMEA, Control Plans, Operation Sheets, etc.).

Technical & Behavioural Skills and Competencies

• Able to use 3D visualization programs (Teamcenter, Catia etc.)
• High proficiency in MS Office programs
• English proficiency (C1 level).
• Ford WERS system or similar program experience a plus
• Familiarity with Launch Processes (PFMEA, Control Plans, Operation Sheets, etc.).
• Proficiency in problem-solving techniques (8D, 6-Sigma, 5W+1H, Fishbone Diagram, etc.).
• High communication skills and a good teamplayer
• Enthusiastic about continuous research and development
