Vendor Manager

Position: Vendor Manager

Only candidates with experience in Mobile Phone Industry (Sales & Purchase) are encouraged to apply.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implementing vendor selection programmes to ensure that the best vendors are secured.
  • Establishing standards to assess the performance of approved vendors
  • Examining current vendor management programmes and making improvements recommendations
  • Conduct monthly market research and collection of sales data for all brands in the territory for distribution to the regional manager.
  • Visit the market with the Vendor Executive on a daily basis to support him and resolve issues.
  • Monitor the work quality of vendor executives on a daily basis and look for errors in prices and invoices.
  • Convey all company policies to vendors and ensure to implement.
  • Find out the best retailer to get stock at cheap prices while the shortage happens.
  • Find out stuck models in the vendor channel’s inventory and get a special discount to use in campaigns.
  • Collect vendor ledgers on a monthly basis and share them with the regional manager in excel format.
  • Regularly track sales patterns in order to identify which products are more in demand.
  • Daily need to make reports for purchasing in numbers and share them with the regional manager.
  • Get feedback from the market on every new product regarding sales expectations as per price range

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3-4 years’ experience as a Area Sales Manager, City Manager, Regional Manager or other relevant work experience
  • BA/BS degree in business or related areas
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, able to plan work independently and efficiently
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, pro-active work style
  • Team Player personality with experience in working in a multicultural environment Effective communication skills, both in written and verbal form, to interact with cross functional teams, business units, as well as across other geographies.
  • Ability to manage your own schedule to meet the needs of sales partners

Salary: Market Competitive

Timing: 10am -7pm
