Veterinary Customer Service Representative

Our growing bird and exotic pet Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full and part time Veterinary Receptionist. The candidate must be professional in attitude and appearance, have a love for animals and working with the public, strong record of reliability and punctuality, be organized and detail oriented, basic math, strong reading, grammar and communication skills, the ability to lift 50 lbs., computer & multi-phone line knowledge and etiquette(database entry, Microsoft office & office technology), and able to multitask under stress while performing daily duties with a pleasant and professional demeanor. Two years or more Veterinary and/or Medical front office along experience is preferred.

Standard office duties will include: client and pet interaction, invoicing, processing payments, medical & patient chart management, scheduling appointments, etc. The position duties will also include assisting with front office staff training and enrichment, organize & monitor the flow of the day, accounts receivable, patient reminders, patient chart and appointment maintenance & compliance, inventory & some ordering, assist Practice Manager, Veterinarian and Veterinary Technician with patient treatments and various tasks. Most importantly develop and maintain a strong, lasting and trusting relationship with our clients and their dear pets, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and support, within the standards and mission of the clinic.

Current hours to include: Full-Time (40 hours) weekdays M or F, T, W & TH (4-day work week - 8-10-hour shift tentatively).

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
