Job Overview
As a Veterinary Doctor, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and high-standard operation of the clinic. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional veterinary care, upholding clinical excellence, and setting a positive example for the entire team. This role also involves providing clinical leadership, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining open, transparent communication with the Clinic Head to ensure alignment with the clinic’s strategic objectives and standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting Day-to-Day Clinic Operations

Collaborate closely with the Clinic Head to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant clinic operations.

Contribute to the development, implementation, and enforcement of clinic policies, procedures, and workflows.

Assist in promoting clinic services through educational initiatives and in-house campaigns.

Monitor and uphold standards of safety, hygiene, and proper equipment use throughout the clinic.

Maintain clear, constructive communication with the wider team and leadership to foster a solutions-oriented environment.
Clinical Care & Leadership

Deliver high-quality veterinary care in both medical and surgical cases, aligned with best practices.

Confidently manage complex or emergency cases with professionalism and clinical expertise.

Guide and support less experienced veterinarians in diagnostic and treatment decision-making.

Ensure accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation for all cases.

Regularly review and enhance treatment and surgical protocols in collaboration with the team
Mentorship & Team Engagement

Set the standard in clinical work, communication, and client service, leading by example.

Assist in the onboarding and continuous training of veterinary and nursing staff.

Foster a team culture rooted in collaboration, psychological safety, and respect.

Ensure all team members are well-versed in key clinical procedures, emergency protocols, and safety standards.
Client Relationships & Front-End Support

Communicate with clarity, empathy, and professionalism throughout the client journey.

Ensure clients fully understand diagnoses, recommended treatments, and associated costs.

Build lasting client relationships based on trust, reliability, and ethical care.

Support the team in offering appropriate retail recommendations and preventive healthcare advice.
Communication & Accountability

Maintain regular, transparent communication with the Clinic Head regarding:

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
-
Valid veterinary license to practice in the UAE

Minimum of 5 years of experience in small animal practice

Strong diagnostic and surgical skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a team and under pressure

Knowledge of animal health laws and best practices

Proficiency in medical recordkeeping and use of veterinary software
