Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and innovative Vice President of Marketing to lead our client's marketing initiatives. This executive role requires a dynamic leader capable of developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in digital marketing, content creation, and brand management, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making to drive growth and engagement.

As a key member of the leadership team, the Vice President of Marketing will oversee all marketing operations, align marketing goals with business objectives, and foster a high-performance marketing culture.

Strategic Leadership (Macro & Micro):

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive national marketing strategy aligned with the company's growth goals.
  • Create and execute customized marketing plans for each practice, focusing on market dynamics, specialty mix (Ortho, Pedo, OS), and patient acquisition trends.
  • Ensure marketing strategy evolves alongside organizational growth, with a particular emphasis on expansion across the West Coast.

Practice-Level Partnership & Collaboration:

  • Act as a strategic partner to individual practice leaders and operations teams to ensure marketing aligns with local goals, capacity, and patient needs.
  • Build trust and alignment by delivering transparent results, listening to feedback, and providing proactive recommendations.
  • Develop playbooks and toolkits that empower practice teams to support marketing efforts on the ground.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing internal marketing team, with clear roles, accountability, and opportunities for growth.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and professional development to team members.
  • Cultivate a culture of ownership, creativity, and continuous improvement within the marketing function.

Vendor Oversight & Performance:

  • Manage all third-party marketing agencies and partners, ensuring accountability and measurable results.
  • Evaluate opportunities to bring functions in-house for improved efficiency, cost control, and performance.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Build and maintain real-time reporting dashboards that provide visibility into CAC, CPL, ROI, patient acquisition, and lead conversion at both macro and practice levels.
  • Use data to identify underperforming campaigns or markets and pivot strategy accordingly.
  • Foster a test-and-optimize culture across all marketing activities.

Qualifications

  • 8–15 years of experience in marketing, including senior-level leadership in multi-site healthcare, dental, or consumer service industries.
  • Proven success in developing performance-driven strategies and leading teams responsible for both national and local execution.
  • Expert-level knowledge in digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, paid social, email, local listing optimization, etc.) and tools (Google Analytics, Looker, CRMs, etc.).
  • Strong background in reporting and analytics—comfortable managing CAC, CPL, and ROI benchmarks.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing internal teams with a clear management philosophy.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and to collaborate across teams and regions.

Must be comfortable working remotely while staying closely connected to operations and leadership in each market.

Pay: $165,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
