Job Overview:

The Vice President – Operations (VP Operations) is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across Legend Holding Group’s diverse businesses. Reporting directly to the Chairman, the VP Operations will ensure alignment of operational practices with corporate objectives, optimize efficiencies, enhance customer experience, and establish robust processes across business units.

This role is designed as a succession path to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), offering the opportunity to progressively take on expanded responsibilities in group-wide strategy, transformation, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence and Efficiency

• Standardize and streamline operational processes across all business units.
• Operational cost reduction %, process efficiency metrics, and service turnaround time improvements.

Business Growth & Expansion Support

• Enable scalable operations to support group expansion into new markets and business streams.
• Successful launch/expansion projects delivered on time and within budget.
• As per business growth roadmap.
• Project delivery reviews and market-entry performance.

Customer Experience & Service Quality

• Enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty across automotive and service businesses.
• Customer satisfaction index (CSI), Net Promoter Score (NPS), repeat business ratio.

Risk, Compliance & Sustainability

• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, health & safety standards, and sustainability benchmarks.
• Zero major compliance violations, risk incidents mitigated, sustainability targets achieved.

Technology & Digital Transformation

• Drive automation, ERP adoption, and data-driven decision-making across operations.
• Digital process adoption, system uptime, efficiency gains from digital initiatives.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Strengthen operations leadership pipeline and nurture cross-functional collaboration.
• Employee engagement scores, leadership development milestones, attrition rate reduction.

Who Fits the Legend’s Seat

Education:

• Master’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of progressive operations leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role managing large, multi-business operations (preferably automotive/industrial sectors).

Industry Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of automotive operations, rental services, dealerships, and after-sales; preferred exposure to cross-sector operations.

Skills:

• Proven expertise in scaling and optimizing operations.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking.
• Hands-on experience with ERP, lean management, and process re-engineering.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Work Environment

• The VP Operations will be based at Legend Holding Group’s headquarters in Jebel Ali, Dubai, with regular travel across UAE operations.
• The role involves close collaboration with Business Unit Heads, the Executive Leadership Team, and global partners.
