Video Content & Social Media Manager

ReadyCloud is expanding its marketing team and we want you to be a part of it! We’re looking for a dynamic Video Content & Social Media Manager to serve as the face and voice of ReadyCloud across social media. You’ll build and grow our brand’s social presence by creating engaging short-form and long-form video content, developing an authentic on-camera personality that resonates with our audience, and leveraging strong social media marketing instincts to drive real business results in the ecommerce, shipping, fulfillment, and IT space.

Think of this role as being ReadyCloud’s in-house influencer—someone who understands how to build an audience, create content that people actually want to watch, and turn social engagement into meaningful brand growth. You’ll also collaborate with external influencers and affiliates to extend our reach. The ideal candidate is a natural on camera, knows what performs on every major platform, and has the production skills to execute their own vision from concept to publish.

Core Responsibilities

Social Media & Brand Presence

  • Serve as the primary on-camera personality and brand representative for ReadyCloud across all social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Develop and execute social media content strategies that build audience, drive engagement, and support ReadyCloud’s B2B marketing objectives.
  • Stay on top of platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging content formats to keep ReadyCloud’s social presence relevant and competitive.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster community around the ReadyCloud brand in an authentic, on-brand voice.
  • Grow ReadyCloud’s social media following and brand awareness through consistent, high-quality content and strategic posting.

Video Production & Content Creation

  • Concept, script, shoot, edit, and publish both short-form (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) and long-form (YouTube tutorials, webinars, case studies, podcast-style) video content.
  • Produce a mix of polished, high-production content and authentic, social-native content tailored to each platform’s audience and format.
  • Direct and film other team members, customers, or partners for interviews, testimonials, and collaborative content.
  • Manage the end-to-end production pipeline, including outsourcing specific tasks (motion graphics, animation, etc.) when necessary and overseeing quality and delivery.
  • Capture photography and static visual content for use across social media, marketing materials, and the company website.

Influencer & Affiliate Collaboration

  • Source, identify, and vet potential influencer and affiliate partners, with a focus on the shipping, ecommerce, and IT niche.
  • Negotiate partnerships, establish terms, and manage ongoing relationships with influencers and affiliates across projects and platforms.
  • Develop creative briefs, provide direction, and review influencer/affiliate content prior to publication to ensure brand consistency and quality.
  • Coordinate influencer and affiliate campaigns to drive brand awareness, generate user-generated content (UGC), secure product reviews, and support sales initiatives.
  • Explore and help develop an affiliate program as the company’s influencer and partnership strategy matures.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report on video performance metrics, social media engagement, audience growth, and content ROI across all platforms.
  • Monitor influencer and affiliate campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Use insights to inform content strategy, identify trends, and continuously improve output.

Additional Responsibilities

This role is expected to evolve over time. Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on content calendars, posting schedules, community engagement, and copywriting as needed.
  • Travel to customer locations to capture testimonials, case studies, and on-site video content.
  • Attend and shoot content at trade shows, industry events, and product launches.
  • Support broader marketing and PR initiatives with video and photo assets.
  • Contribute to event promotion, product launch campaigns, and other front-facing marketing efforts that benefit from video content.
  • Other marketing and content-related functions as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in social media content creation, with a strong emphasis on video production (shooting and editing).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and engage an audience on social media platforms through original content.
  • A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating on-camera presence and video work is required. B2B experience is preferred; B2C work is also accepted if the skills clearly transfer.
  • Natural, confident, and engaging on-camera presence—you’ll be the personality behind ReadyCloud’s social channels.
  • Strong understanding of social media marketing strategy, platform algorithms, content trends, and audience growth tactics.
  • Proficiency in professional video editing software (tool-agnostic—we care about the results, not the specific application).
  • Experience producing content across multiple social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly driven, organized self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, small-team environment.
  • Capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively across departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An established personal social media presence that demonstrates your skills, creative voice, and ability to grow an audience.
  • Experience growing or managing brand accounts on specific platforms (TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Experience working with influencers, affiliates, or brand partnerships.
  • E-commerce experience.
  • Familiarity with the shipping, ecommerce, or IT industry.
  • Photography skills and an eye for visual storytelling beyond video.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
