Video Editing Intern | Onsite | Decimal Solution

Decimal Solution is seeking a creative and motivated Video Editing Intern to join our internal marketing and creative team. This is not a remote role; the position requires physical presence at our head office located in I-8/4, Islamabad (near Peshawar Morr Interchange). As an intern, you will move beyond theory and gain hands-on experience working on real internal projects, including high-engagement social media content, corporate promotional videos, and internal brand communications. This is an in-house internship designed to build your portfolio and professional skills within a fast-paced corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in editing and assembling raw footage into polished video content tailored for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube).
• Trim footage segments, sequence scenes, and implement basic transitions, text overlays, and lower thirds.
• Perform audio synchronization, basic audio cleanup, and color correction on raw footage.
• Collaborate directly with the internal creative team to brainstorm concepts and execute video strategies for Decimal Solution’s brand presence.
• Organize and maintain a structured digital library of raw media assets, project files, and final exports.
• Ensure all final video deliverables align strictly with Decimal Solution's brand guidelines and visual identity.

Requirements

• Education: Candidates currently pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Arts, Computer Science, or Mass Communication are strongly encouraged to apply. Fresh graduates and final-year students are welcome.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro is mandatory. Familiarity with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics or Adobe Photoshop for thumbnail creation is a distinct advantage.
• Equipment Mandate: Candidates must possess a personal laptop capable of running Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects smoothly. Please note that Decimal Solution will not provide a dedicated workstation or laptop for this internship; this is a strict prerequisite for consideration.
• Portfolio: Applicants must provide a link to a portfolio or samples of previous editing work (academic projects, university assignments, or personal freelance work are all acceptable).
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu.
• Work Mode: This is a strictly onsite role. The candidate must be able to reliably commute to the Decimal Solution office in I-8/4, Islamabad.

Schedule
Monday to Friday. We offer flexible hours to accommodate student schedules; however, interns must be able to commit to a minimum of 4-5 hours of onsite work daily at the I-8/4 office.
