Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Video Editor to join our innovative content production team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage, photographs, and graphic assets into compelling visual stories that captivate audiences across multiple platforms. Your expertise in editing software, motion graphics, and post-production techniques will play a vital role in elevating our brand’s visual identity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from promotional videos to social media content, ensuring each piece resonates with our target audience and drives engagement.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw video footage using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Avid to create polished final products.
• Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and animations using Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Maya, or other relevant tools to enhance storytelling.
• Manage photo editing and manipulation tasks utilizing Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, and Adobe Bridge to produce high-quality images for use in videos and marketing materials.
• Design engaging graphic elements including typography, titles, lower thirds, and overlays with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign that align with brand guidelines.
• Coordinate filming sessions by providing videography support, setting up equipment, and capturing high-quality footage for various projects.
• Organize and manage digital assets efficiently within content management systems (CMS) and FTP servers for seamless access during editing workflows.
• Collaborate closely with creative teams to develop concepts, storyboards, and visual styles that meet project objectives.
• Ensure all content adheres to technical specifications for different platforms while maintaining consistency in style and branding.
• Conduct post-production reviews to refine edits based on feedback and ensure timely delivery of final assets.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in video production, editing techniques, and new software tools to continually enhance skill sets.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar content creation role with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across video editing, motion graphics, and photo editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, Cinema 4D, Maya or other 3D animation tools.
• Solid understanding of post-production workflows including color correction, sound editing, and file management.
• Experience working with content management systems (CMS), FTP protocols for file transfer, and digital asset organization.
• Familiarity with videography techniques including filming setup and operation of professional cameras is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of typography principles and graphic design fundamentals to create visually appealing content.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within fast-paced environments while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Pay: $21.63 - $36.05 per hour
