Job Title: Video Editor / Content Creator (Music & Creative Media)

Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid / Flexible)
Job Type: Part-Time / Contract (10–20 hours per week)

About the Role

I’m a multi-instrumentalist performer, actor, and filmmaker building a personal media company focused on music, cinematic content, and creative storytelling. I’m looking for a talented video editor/content creator to help turn performances, music sessions, and creative experiments into engaging short-form content.

This is an opportunity to help build something from the ground up and be part of a growing creative studio.

What You’ll Be Editing

Content includes:

• Piano, saxophone, guitar, and live music performances
• Short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Cinematic music performances and creative concepts
• Behind-the-scenes content
• Social media storytelling clips

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos (15–90 seconds) optimized for social platforms
• Cut engaging music performance clips
• Add captions, effects, and pacing that improve engagement
• Organize and manage media files
• Help repurpose longer footage into multiple pieces of content
• Collaborate on creative video ideas

Ideal Candidate

• Skilled in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut
• Strong understanding of TikTok / Reels editing styles
• Creative storytelling instincts
• Able to work quickly and consistently
• Passion for music, performance, or filmmaking is a big plus

Bonus Skills

• Motion graphics
• Experience editing music content
• Social media growth knowledge
• Camera / filming experience

Schedule

Flexible hours, approximately 10–20 hours per week.

Compensation

$20–$35 per hour depending on experience.
