Video Editor

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves creating high-quality video content for a mid-April launch, including editing B-roll footage, product shots, and incorporating light animation. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic creative team.

Responsibilities:
• Edit B-roll footage and product visuals, focusing on elements like windows, doors, and siding.
• Create and refine storyboards to develop cohesive video concepts.
• Apply light animation techniques to enhance visual storytelling without overloading complexity.
• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure videos meet project objectives and client expectations.
• Produce 4–5 videos, including concepts that feature side-by-side comparisons.
• Respond to client feedback promptly and make revisions within 1–2 days.
• Manage your own editing software licenses and ensure tools are ready for project use.
• Communicate effectively with team members and the client to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Ensure all project files are organized and accessible for team collaboration.
• Deliver high-quality videos within the estimated 50-hour project timeline.
• Proven experience in video editing using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
• Ability to produce engaging visual content with light animation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to incorporate client feedback.
• Excellent time management skills to meet tight turnaround times.
• Experience creating storyboards and developing video concepts.
• Familiarity with editing product-focused footage, including B-roll.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team setting.
• Reliable access to editing equipment and software licenses suitable for high-quality work.
