Fresh Coast Collective is a vibrant and well-established full-service Content Production and Creative Agency with roots anchored in Minneapolis. We’re looking for a full-time Video Editor to join our tight-knit, and ambitious creative team.
The Role
We’re looking for a highly organized Video Editor & Motion Designer who thrives in storytelling and in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This role is ideal for someone who not only creates compelling content, but also brings structure, consistency, and efficiency to the post-production process.
You’ll play a critical role in both editing content and building scalable workflows that keep projects moving smoothly from raw footage to final delivery.
Job Duties/Are you a good fit?
- Edit short-form video content from storyboards supported heavily from b-roll & motion graphics.
- Download, organize, & archive files
- Review b-roll footage to archive best for future use.
- Support all aspects of Fresh Coast video and motion graphic production
- Reviews videos to ensure accuracy and quality prior to sharing with the rest of the team & clients.
- Upload videos for proofing by internal team and clients.
- Organizes, tags, and uploads footage and final materials to a digital asset management system.
- Organize, make selects, basic edits, color and output files from a library of captured images
- Create advanced image composites
- Outlining & image masking
- Ensure color consistency across images
- Receive creative direction from the team and clients and incorporate into edits
- Be on the lookout to improve the internal workflow
- Output files for deployment. (Signage, Social Media, Web, Print, etc...)
- Help keep the office clean and tidy. All hands on deck!
Preferred Qualifications / What we’re looking for
- 4 or more years of video editing and motion graphics experience
- Technical proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, & Lightroom & Bridge
- Knowledge and experience with video hosting sites, i.e. YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Vimeo, etc.
- Excellent eye for detail
- Strong understanding of lighting and composition
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines with a variety of video styles.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to adapt to new situations quickly.
- Professional and organized
- Strong organization and digital workflow practices.
- A reliable team player who is comfortable working with little supervision to meet deadlines.
- Passion for learning
- Utilize best practices for video color adjustments/consistency.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- A self starter who can take direction, and work with the team as well as independently.
- Well organized and be able to prioritize your own workload to meet deadlines.
