Video Editor (Remote)

Job Overview:
Shariq Enterprises is looking for a creative and detail oriented Video Editor to join our team remotely.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing high quality video content for marketing, social media and promotional purposes. You should have a strong sense of storytelling, visual aesthetics, and the ability to deliver engaging content within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high quality videos for social media platforms, advertisements, and marketing campaigns.
• Trim raw footage and assemble clips to create compelling video content.
• Add transitions, effects, graphics, subtitles, and music to enhance video quality.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content team to understand project requirements and deliver creative outputs.
• Optimize videos according to different platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
• Ensure all video content aligns with the brand style and messaging.
• Manage and organize video files, assets, and project timelines efficiently.
• Stay updated with current video editing trends and techniques.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, and storytelling.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience editing social media content or short form videos is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
• Experience with sound editing and color correction.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
