About the role

We’re hiring a very talented Video Editor who can craft compelling, fast-paced edits while keeping story and clarity front-and-center. This includes tight pacing, strong sound design, clean graphics integration, and platform-native formatting.

What you’ll do

• Edit short-form (TikTok/Reels/Shorts) and/or long-form (YouTube) content
• Build strong hooks, pacing, and narrative structure from raw footage/audio
• Add music, SFX, and basic mix/cleanup for clear dialogue and punchy impact
• Create or apply templates for captions, lower thirds, and simple motion graphics
• Export in multiple aspect ratios (9:16, 16:9, 1:1) with platform specs
• Manage versions, notes, and revisions efficiently

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years (or equivalent portfolio) editing social and/or YouTube content
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (Final Cut OK if strong)
• Strong taste in pacing, comedic timing (if relevant), and storytelling
• Solid audio instincts (dialogue clarity, loudness awareness, tasteful SFX)
• Organized project workflow (naming, proxies, backups, asset management)

Nice to have

• Basic color correction (Resolve especially)
• Motion graphics familiarity (After Effects templates / mogrts)
• Captioning workflow (Premiere/Resolve tools or external apps)
• Experience working with creators, tight deadlines, and rapid iteration

Deliverables / workflow

• Typical turnaround: [24–72 hours] depending on length
• We provide: footage, VO, brand references, examples, and clear notes
• You provide: project files (if needed), exports, and source organization
