Videographer / Content Creator

About Us LO Media Group is a fast-growing, NY-based marketing agency specializing in video production for a wide range of clients — from polished corporate brands to nonprofits and fast-moving social-first businesses. We're looking for a versatile videographer who can move fluidly between a buttoned-up corporate shoot and a scrappy, trend-aware social shoot, and make both look great. If you can light an executive interview in the morning and capture punchy vertical content in the afternoon, we want to talk.

What You'll Do

• Shoot across two distinct styles: clean, controlled corporate work (interviews, testimonials, brand films, multi-cam setups) and dynamic social content (vertical/short-form for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts).
• Operate cameras, lighting, and audio gear to capture high-quality footage on location or in studio.
• Capture strong b-roll and coverage with the edit in mind — knowing what cutaways and angles a piece will actually need.
• Collaborate with our creative team on pre-production: storyboarding, briefs, script development, and shot planning.
• Adapt on the fly when a shoot day changes, a client adds a request, or a location throws a curveball.
• Edit your own footage — short-form social cuts, montages, and assembling multiple clips into a single cohesive piece.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of proven experience as a videographer or camera operator.
• A reel or portfolio showing both corporate and social-style work (this is what we're really looking for).
• Hands-on knowledge of the Blackmagic ecosystem.
• Solid lighting and audio fundamentals for interview and run-and-gun scenarios.
• Strong editing skills, including short-form/vertical edits and montage work.
• An eye for current social trends, pacing, and formats without losing professional polish.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple deadlines.
• Works well independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with editing platforms (Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, After Effects)
• Basic motion graphics or on-screen text/captioning for social.
• Comfort directing on-camera talent and non-professional subjects.

Pay: $26.50 - $35.00 per hour
