Role OverviewWe’re hiring a hands-on videographer/editor to own video content capture and production for our founder and brand. You’ll be in the room, on the camera, and in the edit – turning our real work with companies into YouTube long-form and short-form content that attracts serious business owners.

This is part-time to start, with the goal of moving to full-time as we scale output and results.

What You’ll Do

• Film the founder regularly in-person (education, rants, breakdowns, behind-the-scenes, client work).
• Capture long-form content primarily for YouTube, plus vertical content for Instagram Reels/Shorts.
• Edit raw footage into:
• 1–2 polished YouTube videos per week
• Multiple short clips per long-form video (Reels/Shorts)
• Create simple, clean titles and thumbnails that grab attention.
• Organize and manage our content library for easy reuse and repurposing.
• Post content to YouTube and Instagram with proper descriptions, tags, and scheduling.
• Track basic performance (views, retention, CTR at a simple level) and bring ideas to improve.

What We’re Looking For

• You live in or near Lexington, KY and can reliably be in-person.
• You have real social media experience:
• Ideally you’ve grown your own page/account or a client’s, and can show examples.
• Strong shooting skills: framing, lighting basics, audio, making a talking head not look boring.
• Strong editing skills for both long-form and short-form content.
• Comfortable working with existing gear (we provide cameras, lenses, mics, lights).
• You understand business/entrepreneurship content or are eager to learn it fast.
• You care about speed and iteration – good today beats perfect never.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with YouTube channels, podcasts, or educational/business creators.
• Basic graphic design for thumbnails and simple lower thirds.

Schedule & Growth

• Part-time, standard business hours (flexible within reason).
• Mostly local, minimal travel to start.
• Clear path to full-time as we ramp content and see ROI.

Compensation

• Competitive part-time compensation based on experience, with room to grow as the role expands.
