About the Job:

We seek an n-of-1 individual at the forefront of technology and venture who is passionate about how AI will revolutionize the worldwide practice and infrastructure of healthcare, beginning in Saudi Arabia.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you will:

• Source, vet, and work alongside world-class founders to build enduring, transformative health AI companies that serve millions of patients and providers in KSA and around the world.
• Maintain and expand a network of high-impact partnerships with top universities, technology companies, government agencies, investors, and healthcare entities in Saudi Arabia and the region
• Develop KSA-centric market theses on AI/healthcare convergence, including technical competitiveness, regulatory approaches, and local implementation barriers.
• Manage a portfolio of companies across all areas of healthcare, providing their leaders with expert product, technology, and commercial guidance.
• Continually sublimate your differentiated knowledge and relationships into LLM-enabled technical systems so that your impact can scale globally.
• Enjoy wide-ranging autonomy and leverage our resources and committed capital to pursue bold, original theses in healthcare and AI.
• Act as a cultural and operational architect for SSRH: establish processes, technology, and talent pipelines tailored to Saudi and the GCC while syncing effectively with US headquarters.

You will join a global team based in Riyadh, reporting to the Head of Technology. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the nexus of venture, technology, and healthcare, and who brings compelling theses about how AI will revolutionize medicine in the Kingdom.

What You’ll Need:

• You have 8+ years of combined experience across:
  • Founding or scaling (health) technology companies as a CEO, CTO, or in another technical executive role
  • Software or AI building and leadership at early-stage startups
  • Investing at a top venture/PE/hedge fund with a focus on AI or health technology
• You hold a degree in a technical field like computer science, math, physics, or engineering and have stayed at the forefront of AI advances through publishing research or building technology.
• You engage actively with the technology, startup, and venture communities and have a credible network of founders, builders, and investors.
• Ideally, you have a deep understanding of the KSA healthcare market and its ongoing transformation, including technical infrastructure like NPHIES, the regulatory environment, and unique scaling challenges.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is strongly preferred.

• You have approached LLM tools with wonder and have personally built things that have made your and others’ lives better that you could never have imagined a few years ago.
• You are profoundly motivated to transform global healthcare and see technology and company building as the true calling through which you can better the world.
• You have accomplished something that most people haven’t: whether you started a company, won a notable academic award, performed music around the world, or overcame difficult circumstances to succeed, it is clear that you have dedicated your life to pursuing excellence in your craft.

Additional Information

This role is based in Riyadh; we work in-person four days per week.
