1. Academic Leadership
- Plan and implement the academic calendar, timetables, and teaching plans for the Higher Secondary section.
- Ensure effective curriculum delivery in line with CBSE standards and institutional goals.
- Supervise lesson planning, classroom practices, and teaching methodologies of all subject teachers.
- Review students’ academic progress and implement remedial and enrichment programs.
- Oversee the preparation and conduct of internal assessments, practical's, and board examinations.
2. Staff Supervision & Development
- Supervise and mentor subject teachers in the Higher Secondary section.
- Conduct regular academic review meetings and classroom observations.
- Identify training needs and recommend professional development programs for staff.
- Participate in recruitment, orientation, and performance appraisal of section teachers.
3. Student Management
- Ensure discipline, attendance, and behavioral standards are maintained among students.
- Guide students in subject selection, career pathways, and academic counseling.
- Promote student participation in academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities.
- Address student issues and grievances in coordination with counselors and parents.
4. Examination & Assessment
- Coordinate preparation and smooth conduct of internal and board examinations.
- Verify question papers, evaluation processes, and marks compilation.
- Analyze examination results and implement academic improvement strategies.
- Ensure timely submission of reports and board-related documentation.
5. Administration & Coordination
- Coordinate with the Principal, Vice Principal, and administrative departments for academic operations.
- Maintain accurate academic and administrative records of students and teachers.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE regulations, circulars, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare reports, data, and presentations for management review.
6. Parent & Community Engagement
- Conduct parent–teacher meetings and share student performance updates.
- Foster positive communication between teachers, parents, and the school management.
- Represent the Higher Secondary section in school events and external forums.
7. Quality Assurance & Institutional Development
- Monitor the quality of teaching and learning outcomes through regular audits.
- Lead initiatives to enhance academic excellence and innovation in pedagogy.
- Contribute to school improvement plans and accreditation processes.
8. Safeguarding & Wellbeing
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students and staff.
- Promote awareness on student wellbeing, mental health, and ethical conduct.
