About the Family

A warm, friendly family in Queens, NY is seeking a reliable, experienced infant nanny to care for their 7-month-old son. The family is especially interested in finding someone who is excited to grow alongside their family and become a trusted, consistent presence in their child’s life. The Ideal Candidate

This position is best suited for a caregiver who truly enjoys working with infants and is comfortable supporting early developmental milestones. Ideal candidates would be friendly, loving and nurturing. The family prefers candidates that enjoy outings, engaging play and experience with introducing solids/supporting sleep routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for infant son
• Support age-appropriate development and routines
• Bottle feeding, introducing solids, diapering, soothing, and nap support
• Take infant on local outings/outdoor time
• Communicate openly with parents regarding baby’s day, milestones and needs

Qualifications

• Experience caring for infants, minimum 1 year required
• Experience nannying in a private setting, minimum 2 years overall required
• Responsible, proactive, engaging and loving
• Comfortable with part-time work
• Great communication skills
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain by start date)
• Must be fully vaccinated, and willing to attest/or provide documentation
• Excellent references

Additional Details

Location: Astoria Queens, NY

Start Date: March/April 2026

Schedule: 25–30 hours per week, guaranteed. Mondays-Thursdays (potentially flexible)

Compensation: $30-$36/hour, DOE

Additional Benefits: 2 weeks’ vacation, unlimited sick days

Child: One infant

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
