Job Overview:

Here’s your opportunity to join Roxy Cinema under Dubai Holding Entertainment as a Waiter/Waitress . In this role, you will deliver an exceptional dining experience at our Terrace Lounge/Bar by providing attentive and efficient service to guests. You will ensure guest comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit, while demonstrating a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform confidently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:

• Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and providing detailed information on dishes, beverages, and specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.

Order Management:

• Ensure orders are delivered accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or requests.
• Handle payments and transactions accurately, following the establishment's procedures.

Table Maintenance:

• Set up and clear tables efficiently, ensuring a clean and organized dining area.
• Replenish supplies such as cutlery, glassware, and napkins as needed.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the lounge/bar area.

Product Knowledge:

• Stay informed about menu items, specials, and promotions to provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests.
• Be aware of dietary restrictions and food allergies, offering suitable alternatives when necessary.
• Promote and upsell food and beverage items to enhance the guest experience.

Cash Handling:

• Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and billing procedures.
• Balance the cash register at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the hostess, kitchen, and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
• Assist colleagues during busy periods and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding any issues or guest feedback.

About You:

• High School Certificate or equivalent in Hospitality or Hotel Management with 1–3 years of experience in a Food & Beverage role.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in reservation systems and basic computer skills, with fluency in English; additional languages, especially Arabic, are an advantage.
• Professional, welcoming, and approachable personality with strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Flexible and safety-conscious, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, while standing for extended periods and ensuring high service and operational standards.
