Job Description: Inward Executive

Position Summary

The Inward Executive is responsible for managing all inbound operations, ensuring accurate receipt, documentation, and storage of materials or products. This role oversees the inward flow of goods, coordinates with suppliers and internal teams, and maintains high standards of inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Inbound Operations Management

Oversee daily inbound activities including unloading, verification, and storage of goods.
Ensure all materials received are checked for quantity, quality, and compliance with purchase orders.
Coordinate with the procurement team regarding delivery schedules and discrepancies.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate inward registers, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), and related documentation.
Update inventory systems promptly with all inbound data.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inbound activity reports.

Coordination & Communication

Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments (procurement, production, quality, and stores).
Resolve issues related to delivery delays, damaged goods, or incorrect shipments.
Support audit processes by providing complete and accurate records.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all received materials.
Conduct periodic stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
Support FIFO/FEFO procedures and warehouse layout optimization.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Monitor unloading and material handling to maintain a safe working environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in inbound logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
Strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems and MS Office.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or e-commerce operations.
Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and lean practices.
Certification in supply chain/logistics (optional but advantageous).
