Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Incharge to oversee the operations of our Finished Goods Warehouse in a steel manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the steel industry, ensuring effective inventory management, dispatch operations, team supervision, and cross-functional coordination. Familiarity with ERP systems and warehouse KPIs is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations of the Finished Goods Store, ensuring efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of steel products.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all warehouse transactions, including inventory movements, loading plans, and customer dispatches.
- Monitor and manage finished goods inventory; conduct regular stock audits and investigate discrepancies, especially for heavy/large steel items.
- Lead and manage the warehouse team by assigning tasks effectively to optimize productivity and meet operational timelines.
- Coordinate closely with the Production, Sales, and Accounts departments to ensure timely order processing and dispatch as per customer requirements.
- Ensure real-time updating of inventory and stock reports through ERP software.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse performance, including on-time dispatch, inventory accuracy, and warehouse efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and handling procedures, particularly relevant to steel handling, loading, and storage.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and ensure proper stacking and segregation of different steel grades and sizes.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse management experience in the steel industry or a similar heavy manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of finished goods storage, dispatch planning, and logistics in the steel sector.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.) for inventory and dispatch management.
- Strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate manpower efficiently.
- Sound knowledge of inventory management practices, warehouse layouts, and steel product handling.
- Good command of MS Excel and data reporting for stock, audits, and dispatch records.
- Effective problem-solving and coordination skills to liaise with multiple departments.
- Understanding of safety protocols specific to steel material handling and storage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
