Cairo, Egypt (On-Site)

Job Description:

Oversee stock control, maintain accurate inventory records, reporting and ensure that all materials are stored correctly.
Ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of project materials
Implement and monitor safety and quality standards within the warehouse
Lead and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring high performance and compliance with company policies
Support site timelines by ensuring timely availability of materials
Identify operational bottlenecks, propose solutions, and help implement improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
Ensure that all lifting and handling of products and materials is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
Report progress updates, key achievements and any concerns.
Maintain the inventory levels updated in the ERP.
Supervise the forklift operating activities.

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of railway warehouse management experience.
Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
English: very good (spoken and written).
Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in warehouse operations.
Knowledge of inventory management best practices and experience in conducting cycle counts and audits.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols.
Available to work extended hours.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and software.
