Warehouse Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations (inbound, inventory, outbound) ensuring smooth coordination across eCommerce, HORECA, retail, wholesale, and export channels.

• Implement SOPs, drive operational efficiency, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

• Manage warehouse facilities including infrastructure, storage systems, racking, equipment, temperature-controlled storage (frozen, chilled, dry), and facility maintenance.

• Ensure compliance with health & safety, fire safety, food safety (HACCP, ISO), and audit requirements.

• Lead and develop a warehouse team including Inbound Executives, Inventory Controllers, Supervisors, and staff; provide training, feedback, and succession planning.

• Oversee inbound operations – receipt, inspection, documentation, customs clearance, and proper storage of goods.

• Manage inventory control (FIFO/FEFO, cycle counts, stock reconciliation, expiry monitoring, traceability, cold chain management).

• Oversee outbound operations – picking, packing, dispatch, returns, special handling for chilled/frozen goods, and accurate, on-time order fulfillment.

• Plan warehouse capacity, space utilization, automation opportunities, and cost analysis for labor, equipment, and facilities.

• Support recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and career progression of warehouse staff (supervisors, pickers, packers, forklift operators, etc.).

• Manage workforce planning, shift scheduling, leave management, attendance, overtime control, and staff performance in coordination with HR.

• Track and improve KPIs: order/inventory accuracy, pick & pack rate, dock-to-stock time, cost per order, labor productivity, and customer satisfaction.

• Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly reports, dashboards, and compliance documentation for management and audits.

• Handle multi-channel distribution expertise: small-order eCommerce fulfillment, bulk HORECA orders, retail replenishments, wholesale dispatch, and export shipments.

• Oversee specialized systems and equipment including WMS, reach trucks, conveyors, packaging & labeling systems, and temperature monitoring devices.

• Coordinate with procurement, sales, customer service, logistics, 3PLs, and vendors for seamless supply chain performance and cost efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field

• Minimum 5-7 years of warehouse management experience in food distribution or FMCG industry

• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software

• Proven leadership experience managing teams of 20+ employees

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
